Women Educating Women
Hey there! My name is Natalie. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with additional certification in pelvic health and orthopedics. I am also a Certified FertilityCare Practitioner (CFCP) of the Creighton Model, aka I teach Natural Family Planning (NFP). Since I can’t seem to reign in my passion to just one or two things, I am also a certified yoga instructor with a love for prenatal and postpartum yoga. I know that mindfulness, fitness, and healthy fertility can all have a HUGE impact on women’s health and wellness. So that is what I am here to share with you — my journey with and knowledge of all of these topics.
Since most of you are probably not in healthcare, my goal isn’t to write like I would in a peer-reviewed journal (though my recommendations are based off of those!). I want to relay this information with clarity and maybe even some humor. So bear with me and my bad puns, please.
I have two children and a very loving husband, and they greatly motivate me to support women seeking healthy minds, bodies, and spirits!
Why Lilac and Rose?
Well, I have spent the majority of my life living in suburbs of the Lilac City (AKA Spokane, Washington) and the Rose City (AKA Portland, Oregon). Both of these areas have captured my heart in some way and have greatly formed my passion and love for women’s health.
